A 65-year-old Hoboken man who was standing naked at his first-floor bedroom window while fixing a troublesome curtain rod was issued a summons for lewdness yesterday morning, police reports said. 

The man admitted to having “poor judgment,” but he was unable to explain why he did not put any clothing on, police said.

A 38-year-old man climbed the Seaside Heights, NJ roller coaster that was swept into the ocean during Sandy and unfurled an American flag in what he told investigators was an act of patriotism to raise awareness for Jersey Shore recovery efforts. 
Christopher Angulo was handcuffed, arrested and charged with criminal trespassing after authorities coaxed him down from the now-iconic coaster and into a police boat in the frigid Atlantic Ocean.
Boyd said Angulo, who used a canoe to reach the submerged ride, had three duffel bags full of food and clothing with him and told investigators he was prepared to remain on the coaster for two or three days. He said he “did it for America,” Boyd said.

Brick and Mantoloking Barrier Island damage footage shot by the Mayor of Brick. It’s hard to believe. My parents are staying with us because they still don’t have power and are under a mandatory evacuation for tomorrow’s storm. Luckily their house didn’t suffer any major damage, just some flooding.
